Artemisia has worked on a wide range of architectural metal and custom metal fabrication projects for diverse clients with varying needs.  We’ve collaborated on large commercial projects, residential projects, and public art installations, creating work  to support structural building needs, like railings and staircases, and creating stylistic and functional pieces like furniture, feature walls and more.  Our past projects are featured indoor and out, and span a range of materials, finishes, and design styles to achieve our clients’ visions.

At Artemisia, we take pride in delivering quality metal fabrication projects and take a collaborative approach with clients in order to understand your needs and help you achieve your goals.  We can be a part of the entire process from design through to installation, or deliver specific bespoke services along the way.

If required, we can also provide on-site measuring before we begin.  Once we understand the full scope of the project and have all of the technical specifications we need, we get to work in-house, and/or collaborate with our highly skilled partners to ensure the final product meets your expectations, budget, and installation timelines.

We’ll also coordinate and complete on-site installation, and take care of any final details to help make the project a success.

Concept design If you need help coming up with a solid design concept for your home or business, we’ll work with you to understand your needs and will help visualize the project, designing in CAD to ensure all components and proportions work seamlessly together.

Prototype Development If your project needs to go through a test phase to get it right, we can help with cost effective prototype development and work with you on iterative changes to achieve a tailored final product.

Machining We provide precision metal drilling, lathing and milling to create projects according to your exact specifications and requirements.

Welding We’re skilled at TIG, MIG, and ARC welding, and can apply any of these techniques to your project to fit the particular needs of the application, the materials being used, and the precision required.

Metal Finishing & Polishing We can create or apply a range of metal finishes and polishing to your project to meet your unique style vision, creating weather or wear-resistant pieces that will stand the test of time. Learn more about our materials & finishes

Specialty Metal Finishes If you want to go beyond standard finishes to achieve a unique look or meet a specific need, we can provide a variety of specialty finishes, including blackened steel, patinas, powder coats, industrial coatings, and metal plating.

Installation We install onsite, coordinating with you to ensure installation takes place in the right phase of your overall project and supports your project timelines and goals.  (fixed and mechanical)

Of all of the projects that we embark on, our favourite pieces to work on are furniture. We have collaborated on some fantastic one-of-a-kind pieces with some of Vancouver’s most renowned designers and architects. We love bringing custom furniture designs to life, merging metal with other materials to create amazing statement pieces for homes and commercial spaces.

We’re able to create metal panels designed to perform and meet strict building codes. Metal panel projects we’ve worked on include room dividers, sliding doors, and many more. Artemisia has designed, built, and installed some impressive artistic architectural designs, mixing metals, glass, water, and wood to create unique and inspired creations. Artemisia Metal Fabrication shares its space with West Coast Wood Slabs. Together we collaborate to create custom creations for restaurants and other hospitality needs.
